The Nail Files: Molly Coddled

With spring finally showing signs of making an appearance, I'm finally jumping on the Radiant Orchid bandwagon. The 2014 Pantone Colour of the Year is such a vibrant, pretty, happy colour, that I just haven't been ready to embrace it whilst everything outside has felt so dreary. But now, I'm obsessed.

Butter London's Molly Coddled is less of a radiant orchid, and more of a pastel orchid cream, but a perfect shade to welcome in the Spring none the less. A pretty pastel purple without being wishy-washy, Molly Coddled packs enough of a punch to stay under the Radiant Orchid radar. Only two coats are needed for that glossy creme finish that will be my go-to choice well into the summer.

The unique blend of pink, purple and blue tones in Molly Coddled makes it surprisingly easy to wear with almost any colour. It compliments any shades in the pink, red and purple colour palette and pops against oranges, greens and black.

Have you bought a Radiant Orchid inspired nail polish to see you through 2014? If you fancy a bottle of Butter London, I saved a few quid and ordered it on eBay.
