Milla Grace

One of the reasons I love living in Brighton is all the little independent shops & boutiques in the laines that you can spend hours (and far too much money) exploring. Last week, one of these said boutiques invited a load of us Brighton bloggers to have an exclusive browse of their beautiful store... and because shopping is thirsty work, a glass or three of champagne.

Milla Grace is a sweet little boutique filled with things that make your eyes happy; from the display furnite, to the gorgeous stock, to the little details like pots of fresh lavender on top of the shelves and the pretty and creative window displays (for autumn, they had painted gold leaves suspended in the windows - so lovely!).

The clothing is totally gorgeous, yet a distant dream with my mere marketing assistant's salary. But, with a move into a brand new flat only a few weeks away, I was more than happy to lust over all the lovely home accessories instead. There were teacup candles, reed diffusers & gorgeous liberty print cushions, and luxuriously scented votives- I received one in 'Fresh Fig' one in my goody bag which I am saving for my new home.

I also loved the jewellery. There were sweet dainty pieces from 'By Boe' including cute necklaces and bracelets with simple bows on, and these stunning Balagan leaf necklaces. Some of the girls were lucky enough to receive one of these in their goody bags (well jel!) and I love how Fiona styled hers with a classic white tee and red nails!

I will definitely be popping back into Milla Grace soon to pick up some of Katie Leaman's Christmas card designs, and hopefully (after pay day) a pair of Dr Denim jeans - which are a total steal at £45!

We also were all given a massively generous goody bag to take home! Mine included my lovely fig Parkminster candle, Elemis face scrub, loads of Frizz Ease products (these will come in handy in this weather!) some touch screen gloves (amazingly useful!) a cute Katie Leaman notebook, a phone cover and tons of samples from nearby stores like Bare Minerals and Rituals. Ooh, and a voucher for a free glass of Prosecco at Browns - I'm sure we'll all be meeting up soon to redeem those!

Next time you're in Brighton, I recommend you take a trip to Milla Grace, even just to marvel at their pretty displays. But, if you're not lucky enough to be visiting our lovely city, you can visit Milla Grace online, and on Facebook too!
