Lovely Lippy: elf Mineral Moisturising Lip Tints

Lipsticks what? I've got a new favourite product on my lips. After having recently been a little obsessed with Carmex's Moisture Plus tinted lip balms, I've gone right off wearing normal lipsticks and so began looking for something highly moisturising but with a wider variety of colours. Enter elf's Mineral Moisturising Lip Tints*, the perfect lipstick/lipbalm hybrid.

With shea butter and jojoba oil these little sticks of loveliness are deeply conditioning and leave a silky feeling sheen over the lips. I tried two of the eight shades available; 'guava', a frosty, pale peach and 'cherry', a deep autumnal red. They give a really pretty, sheer splash of colour, which I personally find far more wearable than a bold, block colour lipstick. The sleek sticks are cleaner and easier to use than a pot of lip balm, and the product tastes of strawberries - what's not to love?

For just £3.50 a pop, I may be collecting every shade, although I'm also intrigued to treat myself to a  BareMinerals' Loud & Clear Lip Sheer too, fingers crossed there'll be some available at duty free!

What are your favourite lip products?

  1. Think I'm going to have to give these babies a try!
As you know, lipstick makes me feel a bit weird so I'm always looking for an alternative.

  3. I love the colours, especially the cherry. For £3.50 I think it's really worth picking one of these up! I feel really uncomfortable wearing lipsticks and think this is a great alternative. x

  4. Ooh I haven't ever heard of these before but they look lovely :)
