Guest Post- Transitional Autumn Nail Polishes

Say hello to the lovely Sarah from Knickers and Nail Polish, a girl after my own heart as a lover of autumn and pretty fingernails! Today she has written a guest post about the best nail polish shades to take us through the transition from summer brights and pastels into AW13! Love, Rosie x

I love autumn, I love the colours, I love digging out jumpers and coats, but I don’t like how the nail colours change to berry colours and glitter for Christmas. So I dug through my collection & picked 5 colours which will help with the transition that are not typical autumnal colours.

Essie Chinchilly – Grey colours are so versatile at this time of year, work well on all skin tones and will continue to be flattering as the weather gets colder.

Nails Inc Denim – This was a free with Diet Coke polish but a gorgeous blue.  Blues look great on paler skin tones, but you can keep your summer cobalt for a bit longer.

OPI ‘Don’t Mess with OPI’ – Green! This is gorgeous; I love dark leafy greens as it gets colder, super flattering and great for everyone! OPI do some of the best greens out there, but if you know of a better (and cheaper) option then let me know!

Models Own Purple Ash – Dusky purples make transitioning from lighter colours to darker colours much easier, its warmer than going straight to dark purple but still in keeping with the season.

Models Own Obsidian – I couldn't not include a glitter, but not a full blown glitter just yet so Obsidian fits the bill perfectly. Dark colours, hint of glitter, what's more to not like!

So there you have it, 5 colours to help you transition from summer to autumn with ease.  A big thank you to Rosie for letting me guest blog.
