Mama San

There's good news and bad news. I'll give you the bad news first.

Mama San, the cutest little boutique in Brighton's North Laine, is closing it's doors for the final time. This means no more browsing their unique jewellery and masses of pug-related items for us Brightonians.

But the good news, is that they're moving exclusively online to, where we can all still spend all our hard earned pennies on all their beautiful wares that we really don't need but really, really want. Yay!

To celebrate their re-launch as an online business and say goodbye to the shop, Mama San threw a lovely little party last Saturday. I went along with a few of the gorgeous girls from the Brighton Blogger Meet, and initiated my IRL friend, Fiona from Fifi McGee, to the clan.
Fiona (Fifi McGee); Laura (Lola and Behold); Me ; Laura (Chambray & Curls); Lyndsay (Fizzy Peaches); Carrie (Carrie Brighton)
We were given the world's most delish cupcakes and fruit punch while we browsed the shops cute jewellery, accessories and gifts. Some of the designers behind the brands were there too, including Gemma Correll (the illustrator behind 'Pugs Not Drugs') and Hannah Davis of Wolf & Moon.
How sweet are the fox shoe clips from Polka Dot Dreams and the playing card earrings by Cheap Frills?!

My favourite brand was Wolf & Moon. It took me ages deciding on which beautiful piece of handmade jewellery to take home, but eventually I chose a gorgeous laser cut chevron pendant in maroon, gold glitter and cream which I thought would be a good, transitional choice to go with any outfit.

I also left with one of Gemma Correll's  'My Pug Mug' which takes pride of place on my new desk, and of course a Mr Pickles Fan Club badge.
