The Nail Files: Ciate Suncatcher Collection

I was very happy to see my postman on Saturday morning, despite the hideously large bill he presented me with, because he also passed me an extremely exciting little parcel. Earlier in the week, I was lucky enough to be picked as the winner of Ciaté's Suncatcher Treasure Hunt competition, and was treated to their entire new range before it's officially launched - and summery it certainly is!

Suncatcher Collection from Ciate
The Suncatcher collection is made up of five vibrant Paint Pots - all aptly named around a summer theme and makes me daydream of sipping on a piña colada on a paradise island - and the Afterglow Topcoat: the piece de resistance of the range. As well as transforming each of the shades into a semi-matte golden shimmer, the Afterglow Topcoat will make your nails glow after dark. It works by soaking up the sunlight throughout the day and releasing the light once the sun goes down.

Left to Right: Afterglow Topcoat, Pool Party, Red Hot Chilli, Mango Martini, Palm Tree, Raspberry Collins.
On their own, each of the Paint Pots are bold, bright and glossy, and I love each and every shade; an electric blue, a neon green, sunset orange, fire-engine red and a raspberry pink - all perfect for summer. Most of all, I love how each polish can be used for two separate looks with or without the application of the Afterglow Topcoat - bold, punchy colour to a pretty golden sparkle in seconds!

With the Afterglow Topcoat.
I'm not going away on holiday this year (although in desperate need of one!) so not sure how much chance I'll have of seeing the Afterglow glowing to it's full ability without any exposure to any real sunlight, but the neon shades will be great to get the festival feeling at Glastonbury! I can't choose between Mango Martini, Palm Tree or a different colour on each finger. What do you think?

The Ciate Suncatcher collection will be available in July and bottles retail at £9 each. Which colour is your favourite?
