The Nail Files: Fresh Melon

Last summer I was obsessed with wearing peachy paint on my nails, and used up a whole bottle of Nails Inc's 'Wellington Square' in a couple of months. So I was extremely pleased to find this little gem in my goody bag from the Brighton Blogger Meet! Mavala 'Fresh Melon'* is a pastel peach with a pearlescent finish- perfect for a subtle summer shimmer (get me with my double alliteration!). I've never used Mavala before, but so far so good! The colour applies nicely in two coats, is really long lasting (I scrubbed the kitchen floor, and not a chip!) and is free from chemical nasties.

Mavala's mini polish pots are so cute and perfect for packing light! We're planning on going travelling next year and I'm dreading having to fit four months of beauty necessities into one backpack, especially considering how times I'd usually change my nail colour in a four month period! So I'll definitely be investing in a few of these little bottles to cram into my backpacking beauty kit, and seeing as Mavala have over 200 shades to choose from and cost only £4.50 each, I'll be spoilt for choice! You can have a look through their huge range of colours by clicking here.

Have you tried Mavala before? What's your favourite summer shade?
