Rosie's Reviews: Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer

I've been keen to try out more of the Soap & Glory cosmetics range since being super impressed with the Thick & Fast mascara (that I reviewed as a guest blogger on FrancesCassandra, here) so how could I resist subscribing to ELLE magazine at London Fashion Weekend when they were offering three free Soap & Glory products?!

Kick Ass Concealer is definitely worthy of being one of my new favourite products. It contains two shades of cream concealer, which is great for using on different parts of your face. I found the lighter shade worked wonders on the dark circles under my eyes, and the darker shade is good to blend into the foundation or to cover up blemishes. Then (my favourite feature) you apply some of the powder to set the concealer in place. The whole thing is presented in a cute little compact that contains a little powder puff and a mirror.

. As you can see in this delightful photo of my un-made up eyes, it works really well at concealing under eye circles (on the left eye obviously! the right eye is with no make up at all!) I used a MAC 194 brush to apply the cream under my eyes, using the lightest shade on the darkest area and blending out into the darker shade

Compared to my previous concealers, which were MAC's Select Cover Up, and Benefit's Erase Paste, the coverage that Kick Ass Concealer provides certainly measures up. In fact, for hiding under eye circles, I would  say it is better! The one negative I have noticed is that it does tend to crease slightly. Overall though, for £10, it really does kick ass.

Have you tried this concealer? What other Soap & Glory products do you recommend?
